Chrome electrolyte recycling
Völpker Spezialprodukte operates a plant that recycles spent chromic acid baths. The plant has been approved in keeping with § 4 BlmSchG and the statutory stipulations governing waste control and has an annual capacity of 3,000 tonnes.

involves the recovery, cleaning and immediate further processing of the chrome(VI) solution into technical special chrome chemicals.
A special advantage for our clients: Compared with other processes the amount of residual sludge is reduced by more than 80% with very clear benefits regarding utilisation costs.
